WATCH: Looting in Cornubia broadcast
A VIDEO of hundreds of demonstrators trying to gain access to Makro Cornubia is circulating on social networks this morning.

The person who recorded the clip mentions at the end that the protesters were also trying to gain access to a nearby warehouse, believed to be that of a popular electronics manufacturer.
A helicopter is seen driving around and the person mentions that tear gas was dispersed.
Brian Leroni, senior vice president of corporate affairs for the Massmart Group, said the situation was diffuse.
“At 9:50 am, our security team and SAPS were able to fully secure and ensure the security of the Makro Cornubia store,” he said.
